Home School Agreement
At Kitchener Primary School, we believe that by working together and communicating openly, we can make our school and wider community a positive, safe and welcoming place for everyone.
Our Home–School Agreement outlines the shared commitment between the school, parents/carers and pupils to support learning, wellbeing and positive relationships.
As a School, we will:
- Provide a safe, caring and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected and listened to.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Support every child to achieve their full potential and develop confidence and independence.
- Promote positive behaviour and respectful relationships throughout the school community.
- Communicate clearly with families about learning, progress and school events.
- Provide opportunities for children to develop a strong sense of moral responsibility, respect and kindness.
As Parents and Carers, we will:
- Support our child’s learning and encourage a positive attitude towards school.
- Communicate with the school and attend meetings when needed.
- Ensure our child attends school regularly, on time and ready to learn.
- Encourage respect for others, regardless of background, belief or ability.
- Support school policies and promote positive behaviour at home.
- Help our child to understand the importance of kindness, honesty and responsibility.
As Pupils, we will:
- Come to school ready to learn and take pride in our work.
- Follow the school’s behaviour expectations and treat others with respect.
- Be kind, helpful and considerate towards others.
- Take responsibility for our actions and choices.
- Look after our school environment and the people within it.
By working together, we create a positive and supportive school community where everyone feels valued and able to thrive.
We all have a voice, and we are all valued.
