Healthy Schools Programme
Kitchener Primary School is proud to be part of the Cardiff Healthy Schools Programme, which supports schools in promoting the health and wellbeing of pupils, staff and families.
The programme encourages a whole-school approach to wellbeing, helping children to develop healthy habits, positive relationships and an understanding of how to look after both their physical and emotional health.
Through this approach, we support pupils to make informed choices around:
- Healthy eating and physical activity
- Emotional wellbeing and mental health
- Positive relationships and personal safety
- Developing confidence, resilience and self-esteem
Further information about the Healthy Schools Programme can be found on the Cardiff Council website:
